McHenry, MD- Northern Garrett High senior, Sam Beeman, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Garrett College.
"I chose Garrett College because they have an outstanding baseball program and a great coaching staff. Their school is the best fit for me academically and the best for my future. I would like to thank Coach Hallenbeck for this opportunity and I am proud to be a Laker," says the senior standout.
"We are excited to have Sam coming our way. I'm anxious to see how is athletic ability translates to the college game," says GC Head Coach Eric Hallenbeck. "Sam is a hard-nosed, blue collar guy. He played middle linebacker and fullback in football, and competes on the wrestling team as well as being a starter on the sectional champion baseball team last year. Like (Brandon) Lucas, (Peyton) Carr and (Bradie) Moore, Sam is another local kid who not only is talented on the field but is a quality person off the field as well," added Hallenbeck.
