Tyler Lytle is a 2012 graduate of the Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District. He has been a volunteer fireman since 2010 in his hometown of Confluence, Pennsylvania. He played for the Turkeyfoot Rams baseball team all 4 years of high school and was also a member of the Rifle team. He is no stranger to Coach Hallenbeck’s methods, as he played under him for 2 years here at Garrett College, as a left-handed pitcher. Tyler was the recipient of the 2014 Mark Ciarmella Anchor Award. After his time at Garrett College, he moved to Phoenix, Arizona with his fiancé Erin and worked as a Pool Technician. Currently, he is working as a Groundsman for Bottenfield Powerline Construction. Coach Lytle stated, “I am excited to be back at Garrett College, and eager for the opportunity to work with Coach Hallenbeck and the baseball team this season.” Tyler resides in Confluence, PA with his fiancé Erin and yellow lab, Marley.
