Lakers Moving On

McHenry, MD - Garret Laker Men's Basketball has a long history of success and this year was no different. Three of our 2019 sophomores have signed to go on and continue playing; one professionally and two lakers are on their way to four year schools.

Headlining the group is Zakeem Davis who garnered first team All- Region XX honors this past season. Zakeem has signed with IHN Management Group out of Morgantown, WV and is currently seeking a contract with teams in the D League and overseas. Zakeem was recently named the Most Outstanding player on this year's Garrett Team.

Marin Lisica, a 6'9" center led Maryland JUCO in shooting percentage at 65%. Hailing from Split, Croatia, the center will be headed to Mayville State University in North Dakota.

Elisha Kidd, a 6'1" one guard averaged nearly 13 points per game. He was close to the leaders in the conference, in nearly every category. The tough defender will be continuing his career at Brescia University in Kentucky.

Garrett has had a successful off season recruiting, and is likely to have another noteable season next year.
