The Garrett College Women's Volleyball team announces the addition of Kendra Friend to the 2017 recruiting class.

Kendra will graduate from Northern Garrett High School this year after starting on the Varsity Volleyball team for 3 years. Kendra was a co - captain of the Lady Huskies this year, and ended the season with 115 serves, 14 aces, and hit an impressive .312. Kendra also recorded 49 digs and 351 passes. She finishes her time with the Lady Huskies recording 924 passes, 273 digs, 426 serves, 53 service aces and 85 kills.

During Kendra's tenure at Northern High School she received multiple awards including Outstanding Offensive Player, Outstanding Defensive Player, Most Outstanding Player, and is a three time MIND in motion award winner. 

Kendra was also mentioned in the Outstanding Athletes of AAU Yearbook. 

"We are excited to have Kendra join the Lady Lakers," said Head Coach Kim Windstein. " I have had the pleasure to watch Kendra develop as not only a player but a person over the last few years. Kendra brings a spark to the court with her upbeat attitude, as well as her outstanding play."
