Jeffrey Lewis Named Head Volleyball Coach

Garrett College Athletics is excited to announce Jeffrey Lewis (JT) as Head Coach for 2020 Volleyball season. JT has served as the team's assistant coach since 2018. His knowledge and enthusiasm can be observed daily. "I am honored to have been chosen as the next head women's volleyball coach. I would like to thank Garrett College for their selection and giving me this opportunity. I am looking forward to next season, and working with this young, talented bunch of players," quoted Lewis.

JT is a Morgantown, West Virginia native and a graduate of Morgantown High School where he was a player on both the football, and men's basketball teams. He continued as a student athlete after high school while attending Garrett College as a member of the men's basketball team for two years and one year as a player on the men's basketball team at Glenville State College. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University with areas of emphasis in Communications, Sociology and Sports Psychology.

JT Lewis began his coaching career at Garrett College in 2016 as the Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball. In 2017, he became the Head Coach for Women's Basketball at Garrett. He also serves as the Head Coach of the Men's Golf Team.
