The Owls took a 2-0 lead on goals by Osmon, set up by Khalid Weathersby, and Nik Pazoki. Garrett, however, pulled with 2-1 at the half as Darius Hamilton scored off a Lucio Bianchi feed.
Osman scored again to restore PG's two-goal lead, but Ben Lohr tallied off Bianchi's second assist of the game to pull the Lakers within 3-2.
"We showed some fight," said GC head coach Jonathan Price. "Some of our youth showed again, but we're still headed in the right direction as a program."
Kemari Kerr scored with less than two minutes remaining to ice the win for the Owls.
GC goalkeeper Wyatt Hull stopped five of the nine shots he faced. Winning goalkeeper Ngonya Tajong stopped two of four shots to earn the win.
