Jermaine Skeffery has served as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Garrett College since the 2021 season. He brings over 15 years of coaching experience across all age groups and genders—from volunteering at the elementary level to leading the WVU Men’s Club Basketball Team.

Originally from New York, NY, and raised in Brooklyn, Jermaine was a top defensive player in his high school region, where his passion for coaching began. He initially joined West Virginia University as a football walk-on before shifting his focus to basketball, becoming a student manager for the WVU Women’s Basketball Team under Coach Mike Carey.

Jermaine holds a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship with a minor in Coaching and recently earned his Master’s degree in Sport Coaching from West Virginia University.
